At UMOM New Day Centers, we use social enterprise to change lives. Helpings is our social enterprise that uses its profits to make our community a better place.

We provide delicious, hand-crafted menu items, job training, and hope. When you purchase a salad or sandwich, you help generate funding for programs and services for people in our community experiencing homelessness.

Helpings is also the training facility for our Homegrown Program. This six-week training program provides students with the skillset to obtain employment and receive stable income to avoid future homelessness. By helping clients build skills and establishing a foundation for jobs in the food service and hospitality industries, a life of stability with a solid job and housing becomes within reach.
